Thank you for requesting information about Monroes vibrant marketplace showcasing local crafters, artists and boutiques. We provide quality items to our patrons. Our booth pricing is competitive with other comparative local businesses. We will work hard to bring in the most customers possible to buy your goods. Peddlers Paradise Bartique offers a variety of booth spaces and wants to work with you to accommodate your specific needs. We display all merchandise in a safe, clean and organized environment so that our shoppers will keep coming back. In an effort to serve you more efficiently, we ask you to follow our rules and regulations listed below.  

   

Vendor information:  

   

  • Booth rental varies depending on the size of your booth.

  • Peddlers Paradise Bartique keeps 20% of all sales from vendors.   

  • A 30 day written notice is required if moving out.    

  • The rental agreement is month to month. Peddlers Paradise Bartique does recommend the vendor stay at least 4-6 months to see how things go.   

  • First months rent is due when moving in via cash, check, cashapp or venmo.

  • Rent is due on the 1st of each month and can be paid via check, cash, cashapp, or venmo. No credit cards are excepted for rent payments.  __________ initial 

  • If rent isn't paid by the 15th of the month, then your products become the property of Peddlers Paradise Bartique and will be sold at a discount and any money made from sales will be kept by the shop owner  ________ initial 

  • No credit card or debit card sale fees are assessed /charged to the vendor.  

  • Sales tax will be collected from the customer and paid to appropriate government entities by Peddlers Paradise Bartique.  

  • All items brought in to decorate your booth must be removed upon surrendering the booth.  

  • Only the vendor signing the agreement will be allowed to stock their area/store and remove items from their area/store. If the vendor would like to give someone else access to do this please add them to this agreement and have them sign it as well.   

  • Vendors shall not make any alterations or improvements in or to the booth without prior consent of Peddlers Paradise Bartique and consent may be withheld at Peddlers Paradise Bartiques absolute discretion.  

  • Vendors are responsible for providing their own display cases/tables/bookshelves or whatever they might need to display their products, unless there is available shelf space in my store that they can rent.  Display must be approved by Peddlers Paradise Bartique  

  • Vendors can only sell items that they are originally approved to sell in booth. If vendors wish to sell new items in their booth, they most be approved by PPB prior to bringing into the shop.__________ initial 

  • Vendors are required to come to the shop at least once a week  to restock their booth, rearrange their booth, clean it and add seasonal items. _______ initial  

  • Vendor agrees to promote PPB  through social media and help advertise all events held at PPB. This will essentially help the vendors business as well as the entire business, which will bring in new customers and create potential new sales. ________ initial 

  • Vendors cannot sell in any other store in the downtown Monroe area.  _________________ initial

  • PPB wants serious vendors who treat this as a business and run it as a business. 

   

         Merchandising:  

                PPB will not be responsible for any loss or damage of merchandise, property or equipment, either from natural or unnatural causes, such as theft, fire, flood, wind, rain, or any other cause whatsoever.  

  • It is up to each person to bring in items to make sure the items are not on any recall list or are a hazard to anyone.  

  • Any items with expired “use by date” will not be sold and may be pulled from stock by Peddlers Paradise Bartique.   

  • All items must be in working condition. 

  • All vendors must input their inventory into our ricochet system. PPB will print stickers for the vendor and the vendor will put stickers on their items.   

  • Vendors must take all trash with them after set up/removal of items  

  • Vendors are responsible for keeping their own space and merchandise clean, dusted and orderly. PPB is responsible for aisles, restrooms and the common area of the market.  

  • All merchandise must be kept WITHIN each vendor’s assigned space. Customer walkways shall not be obstructed by merchandise.  

  • Vendors may stock their booth any time during business hours. You may not keep the staff after hours working in your booth.  ____________initial

   

Sales Checks, Rents and Miscellaneous:  

   

  • Booth rentals are sold on a pre-pay basis. (ie. May’s rent is due on or before May 1st.) _____________Initial 

  • Sales are totaled from the first of the previous month to the end of the previous month. Sales checks will be available on the 15th. Sales checks can be picked up by the vendor only, at the store starting on the 15th of the month. Or they can be mailed to you. Vendors can also be paid via venmo or cashapp . ( For example: Sales from March 1st-March 31st will be paid on April 15th) 

  • Rent is due by the 1st of each month. If it is not received by the 5th of the month, a late fee of $1.00 per day will be added to the amount due. No exceptions. Rent can be paid via check, cash, cashapp or venmo. If using one of the last 3 payments, please pay as friends and family so that I don't get charged a fee. If PPM is charged a fee, that fee will come out of your payment.  _______ initial 

  • If rent is not paid by the 15th of the month, the booth and everything in it will become the property of PPB. _______ initial 

  • If any vendor acts in a way deemed “detrimental” and/or commits “violent acts” to the store, staff, customers or other vendors, then Peddler’s Paradise Bartique has the right to terminate business with the vendor immediately. No refunds of rent will be given to vendor in this case.  

  • Move-outs: Move-outs shall occur on or before the last day of the current rental period. Holdovers will be charged an additional rent. PPB must be given a written 30 day notice in advance of a move- out BY THE FIRST DAY OF THE MONTH. Vendor must settle all over due rent charges and damages before removing merchandise from Peddlers Paradise Bartique.  

  • Hours of operation: Monday 12:00pm-9:00pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 10:00am-9:00pm, Thursday 10:00am-11:00pm  Friday 10:00am -10:00pm, Saturday 10:00am-10:00pm and Sunday 12:00pm-8:00pm.   

  • Store hours, days of operation and advertising campaigns can be changed and the signing of the vendor agreement doesn’t bind Peddler’s Paradise Bartique.  

  • The store will be closed on the following holidays:  Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and the day after Christmas.
